The SciencePOD Story
SciencePOD is the brainchild of Sabine Louët, a seasoned science journalist and editor who brings 20 years of experience in science publishing. The company is headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, only a stone’s throw away from the Irish Sea. Keeping in line with this marine theme, SciencePOD’s parent company, Armor Media Ltd. – a digital publishing company – borrows its name from the Breton language word for the sea (armor). After all, it is the sea that physically connects Ireland with the rest of the world, and thus the name is a metaphor for our global remit.
When she created the company, Sabine realised too much scientific and technological knowledge remained buried in specialist literature. It was not communicated in a way that made the latest research and innovation accessible to wider audiences. In response, SciencePOD was born.
The SciencePOD platform is a one-stop-solution for content creation. SciencePOD specialises in expert and effective storytelling to create digital stories for uses in educational, informational and marketing purposes.
SciencePOD’s unique advantage rests on its international and multilingual network of pre-vetted highly talented science and medical journalists and writers that are also subject matter experts.
We’re multidisciplinary, multilingual and multimedia savvy. Your next science story starts with SciencePOD.
